Each Species Page is a portal to our collective knowledge about the species's appearance, taxonomy, distribution, literature, and in some cases uses. This is done by pulling information from other online sources of information about plants such as BONAP (Biota of North America Program), GBIF (Global Biodiversity Information Facility), Wikipedia®, NatureServe, BHL (Biodiversity Heritage Library), and the World Wide Web of photos and literature.
